Mr. Reid provides advice and representation in connection with government investigations and criminal litigation.  He also provides environmental compliance and liability counseling services to corporations.

Mr. Reid is a former military defense counsel, prosecutor, and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, having investigated and litigated a wide variety of criminal matters in military and federal courts.  During his career in the U.S. Coast Guard and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, Mr. Reid was heavily engaged in numerous complex investigations of maritime disasters, government enforcement actions involving maritime and energy firms, and the investigation and prosecution of individuals and corporations for violations of federal criminal law.  Mr. Reid has a wealth of international experience, having trained senior foreign officials in combating transnational crime and terrorism, in numerous countries in Africa, Asia, & Europe. He brings a unique and comprehensive blend of litigation, diplomatic, international, and technical skills to his practice.
